Great Coop for My NeedsWhen looking for a chicken coop to house my crooked beak silkie and new chicks, I came across the ECOLINEAR Outdoor 80” Wooden Chicken Coop. This coop has been perfect for my needs. I did have to add an extra coat of paint and a sealer to protect it from harsh weather and ensure its longevity. I made a mistake while assembling it and attached the wrong side where the chicken door/ramp is located, but it still functions well as I keep that door open anyway. While the coop is not perfectly sturdy, it will be great with some reinforcement. I keep this mini coop within another enclosed fenced coop area, providing a safe space for my chickens to roam around. The inside of the coop is spacious, and overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase. The affordable price and easy assembly are also big pluses. After painting the pieces, I managed to assemble the coop in just about an hour. It turned out cute!
Some Drawbacks, But Still Worth ItIt is important to note that the ECOLINEAR Outdoor 80” Wooden Chicken Coop does have some downsides. The product is made of cheap lightweight materials, and several pieces arrived in a state of disrepair due to inadequate nailing with small gauge nails. The instructions provided have poor pictures but lack any accompanying text. The thin panel board roof was originally green, but we painted it black and had to secure it with additional screws due to an inch gap. However, once assembled, the coop is sturdy and features a great design. For the price, it is worth considering, even with its shortcomings.
